Bed time stories to keep your dog calm and relaxed!

Is your pet dog disturbed on Bonfire or Diwali nights due to high-decibel fireworks?  Here is good news for you and your dog.  Simply read bed time stories to cheer it up.

Scientists from the UK have done extensive research on the moods and behavior of canines when they are stressed out to calm them with different techniques.  Scientist Laura Quinn, working with Karen Wild, spent years analyzing speech patterns so they could write a story perfect to make the dog peaceful and relaxed during nights of fireworks.  The audio book named “Teddy and Stanley’s Tall Tale” includes soothing syllables in the form of dog tales to lower the stress level of the canines.

While reading the stories, dog owners are advised to pretend as if they are taking to two-year-old child.    For the best results, the stories should be repeated as many times as possible.

Now your neighbors can also have a peaceful sleep in the night as your dear dog.

  1. Our dog hates fireworks. Poor thing. I didn't know this would help. I'll give it a try on the 4th of July.

    Have a terrific day. :)
