Jump off window seat!

Next time when you fly, do not opt for a window seat! Yes... it increases the probability of blood clotting and the associated fatalities.

The window seat passenger is prone to sleep for long hours in a cramped condition which causes blood clot. When the blood clot reaches the lungs through the blood stream, it may cause heart attack depending on the size and shape of the clot.

Times of India reports that Research on this subject by Leiden University Medical Center in Netherlands reveals that the chances of developing such vein thrombosis is 6 times higher in obese people!

What is the solution? Pick up a seat in the middle row and it is very safe. Aisle seat is preferred next. It is opined that Business Class passengers are the least affected by such risks.

Have a nice flight!
