Lovers! Stop kissing!

Kissing is a biological show of love and affection for mankind from time immemorial! It is the modest and noblest form of expression of love amongst lovers though passionate!

Today the act of kissing comes with a warning! Yes. Times of India magazine reports that Australian Herpes Management Forum (AHMF)warns that this kindest act of affection is a major transmitter of herpes for both adults and children.

Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV), known as cold sore, is present in or near the mouth area of the adult and gets commonly transmitted to the child when being kissed by adult relatives. Researchers say that the infection may exist even without the presence of the cold sore in some cases.

The deadly virus stays always in the body once infected and can be reactivated any time. An infection by a herpes virus is marked by watery blisters in the skin or mucous membranes of the mouth, lips or genitals.

HSV1 & HSV2 are two variants of the virus causing genital herpes. It appears that it may take time for researchers to find out a suitable remedy for this disease.

Parents should take proper care to protect their kids from contracting this dangerous disease by educating relatives and friends suitably and by discouraging lip contacts. If any antidote is invented it will be a boon for the kids.

Lovers... kindly mask your body before indulging in the blissful act of kissing!
