Beget children before you turn 30!

Do you know that an average woman is born with 300,000 potential egg cells which is known as "Ovarian Reserve". This number varies for individual women - some women have an ovarian reserve as high as 2,000,000 while some others have as little as 35,000.

Researchers have found that the average woman has used 90% of her ovarian reserves within the age of 30. Even though women continue to produce eggs, the reservoir of potential eggs shrinks rapidly. As a result, only 12% of ovarian reserve remains when they turn 30 and a meager 3% remains when they are in their 40's.

As the body chooses the best egg, the chances of a quality egg is very remote in older women which results in difficulty in conception and the unhealthy babies. The opinion that so long as she produces eggs, she has the capacity to conceive is proven a myth.
