Doctors Will Use Their iPhone With Free iStethoscope App For Examining Patients!


Stethoscope will soon be a thing of the past with doctors around the world. Yes, Peter Bentley, a researcher of the University College of London has developed a iPhone application known as iStethoscope. This app monitors the heartbeat through sensors in the Apple's iPhone. The adoption of mobile phone in the medical field is considered as a major breakthrough.

iPhone is versatile with accessories like camera, microphone, sensor, etc., which are utilized for taking photographs, listening to music and browse through email messages, etc., while on the go in addition to conventional talking. That is why it is known as smartphone. There are over 6000 apps related to health care in Apple's App Store presently.

iStethoscope has become a roaring success overnight. More than 3 million doctors have already downloaded the app for free!
