If your car is found missing, you don't have to push the panic button. Amit Jain, a young Indian engineer, has developed a novel device which can track your car in motion including the speed at which it is being driven. Simply fix the device in a corner inside the car at a location which does not attract attention in the normal course.
The device gets activated the moment the car ignition is switched on.You can even control the speed of the car and bring it to a halt remotely. You can track the route of the car in motion and inform the cops to chase the vehicle.
Times of India reports that the device has been displayed at Jain International Trade Organization Global Summit on "Turning dreams into Reality" in Mumbai recently. The cost of the device is only Rs. 9000 and it does not require any maintenance or special care.
You can catch your car driver red-handed when he snoozes with the ignition on next time!
I love this idea a lot. I live in the car theft capital of the United States. Thieves are everywhere. They list all the people that get arrested for car theft in the newspaper. There are so many.
