Ice Man Spends 120 Minutes Under Ice In China!

European winter sports and events are wild, interesting and adventurous. The fever has caught up in Asian countries too. Here is a strange competition in China to test your endurance limit in iced atmosphere. Yes, you are literally buried under ice wearing almost nothing. A timer records the duration you are able to sit in ice.

In a recent competition conducted in Zhangjiajie province in China, Jin Songhao, wearing only a pair of shorts, stayed in the cold comforts of a container filled with ice cubes for a period of 120 minutes. He won the competition against his nearest rival who clocked 118 minutes. Incidentally Jin has created a new world record in Guinness Book.

  1. You would think there could be some medical issues associated with this. Frostbite being one. My hats off to these folks. I would do it at all.

    Have a terrific day. :)
