Whenever you plan a tour or picnic away from home you need to make arrangements to take delivery of posts and packages from the couriers in your absence. 'Smart doorbell' is a new device that solves your problem in such occasions.
As soon as the doorbell is pressed by the courier, the owner's mobile phone is activated so that he can talk to the courier and give instructions. His voice is heard with a small amount of white noise which gives an impression to the courier that the owner is speaking from inside the house.
The device also serves as a burglar alarm. Normally the burglar presses the doorbell to make sure that the inmates are away. When the burglar hears the owners voice he gets confused and runs away.
The device was invented by a teenager by name Lawrence Rook from the UK to help his mother collect parcels from the local post office!
