When I met 5-year old Jimmy, he was in the hospital with broken legs. He had chased a ball into the street and was hit by a car. Six weeks later, at the time of discharge, his nurse asked him, "What will you do when the ball rolls into the road next time?" Pat came the reply, "Send my sister."
My daughter Jyoti made me a grandfather recently.
My other daughter Betty lives in in Thailand and works as a teacher. "So if my sister has a baby what does that make me?" Betty asked her students to test their vocabularies. A little girl raised her hand and volunteered the answer, "Jealous?"
Kids just see things wonderfully don't they. Yes they do.
