My daughter Savita, who is married to a chef, was at a kitty party recently. A woman seated next to her exclaimed, "How lucky you are! Your husband must be cooking gourmet meals for you daily."
"And what does your husband do?", smiled my daughter.
"He is a physiotherapist."
"So does he give you massage every night?", asked Savita.
The garage called to say that the car we had taken in for service was ready.
"Great!" I said. "My wife is in the bathroom 'getting beautiful' and we will be there in the garage as soon as she's finished.
The voice on the other side asked, "Will that be today?"
While watching the Olympics, my mother turned to my sister and said, "You just know that the athletes' mothers are proud of them. I'm proud of you girls, and you are nothing."
