Teen Talks!

Our dishwasher has been broken for sometime, so my husband, who is waiting for a knee replacement,
does the dishes.  I came home from work one evening very tired, and as we were clearing up after dinner I announced that one of these days I was going to get the dishwasher fixed.

Our 14-year-old quick-witted grandson, Kristopher,  piped in, "All it needs, Grandma, is a new knee."

Having just secured his first full-time job, my friend's 18-year-old son was complaining about having to discuss his increasing overdraft with the bank manager.  His mother launched into a lecture on the importance of prudent money management.  "But Mom," her son intervened, "I don't earn enough to live within my means."

  1. They are both right on the money from a teens point of view. Bless their hearts. They'll learn.

    Have a terrific day. :)
