Self driven cars on Seoul streets soon!

Self driven cars are undergoing rigorous road tests in Seoul, South Korea.  Two such driver-less cars Seo Seung -woo These cars have been commuting through nooks and corners of the university campus for the past two years without any accident and violation of traffic rules.  Due to local traffic regulations, the cars were banned in public roads outside the university campus.  Recently the restrictions have been relaxed and soon lots of self driven cars will be seen on Seoul's public roads.

Fitted with sensors and cameras, these cars can navigate through narrow lanes and winding streets They can read road signs and follow traffic signals.  Presently eight driver less cars are on road in Seoul and the number will surge rapidly in the near future.

In some other parts of the world, this automated driving technology is in advanced stage and the cars and buses are already on the roads catering to taxi service and public transport.

The best feature of the car appears to be the elimination of 'human error'.  Agreed.
Time and experience will reveal any snag in respect of 'machine error' in the years to come!
