The elderly patient and his doctor son!

An elderly gentleman had to undergo a complicated surgery.

The doctor performing the surgery happened to be his own son.

Just before the commencement of the surgery, before administering anesthesia, the old man was asked how he was feeling.

He told the attending surgeon, his own son, "Dear son,  I am not nervous at all.  But I want you to remember one thing.  Suppose the surgery is not successful and I die, your mom will come to your house and she will live with your wife and you. Just keep this fact in your mind while you perform the surgery."
